How We Are Different

SimplePages.info is one guy. Me. David Delgado.
Sometimes I think it is funny to write in the third person.
I have a job.
Some people watch sports.
Some people go hiking.
Some people play music. (I do that too)
Some people like to cook.
I like to build websites.

I want to help small businesses and Christian ministries develop a website that will help thier business and ministries. We are different because I don't "really" need the work. I have a job. This is just something I do because I get easily bored and I don't watch football. Since I have a job, I promise to give you a fair price and explain things as I go along. If I can't help you, I promise to send you to someone who can. Often times I sub contract the work if it means you will get a better project.

A few things to watch out for when looking for a web development company.....

  • YOUR DOMAIN NAME
Make sure you register your own domain name or you make sure it is in your contract that you retain the rights to the domain name if you discontinue thier service. Some companies will hold your domain name hostage. I have seen it done.
We always register your domain name in your name and send you the information to manage it. That way if you are not happy with our service or product, the domain name remains yours. (There is a yearly fee involved and shouldn't be more than about $10)

  • YOUR WEBSITE DESIGN
Once we have been paid for the site design, we give you a 'full rights release' which means you can do whatever you would like with the design. Designers own the site design unless you have stipulated this in the contract. Some companies will only allow you to keep the site (and domain name) only if you host your site with them. While this is not illegal, or even unethical, make sure you know this before you sign a web development contract. SimplePages.info will keep no rights to any design element we have created for you once we have been paid in full.

  • YOUR PAGE TITLES OPTIMIZED
Many design and hosting companies will not prepare your web pages for search engine optimization. The titles on this page are so that we do not get too much traffic and business on this site.....Remember I have a day job I like. In order to optimize a web page correctly, page titles should be key word rich. Also, make sure your web pages have key words in them in the copy as well. Make sure your development company submits your site to the main search engines so that you can get traffic and be easily found. A website that gets little or no traffic is of little value unless you have a niche market and purpose for doing business that way.

  • IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS
If you have a question, even if you are not a client, feel free to contact us and we will help if we can.
